Despite the gloomy drizzle we started the tournament with high spirits
which got even higher as the lunch aromas started finding hungry players.
Then the sun came out!
What a great lunch and what a fine day of fun and competition!
After more than 4 hours of play we have a new champion team. Team 9 played 7 games and came from the loser bracket to take the gold. The silver went to Team 3 who remained undefeated most of the day. And Team 4 took home the bronze.
All teams played as if a lot more than a bit of ribbon with a plastic medallion was the prize!
Congratulations to all the competitors and a big THANK YOU to the line judges, especially Bill & Annie for calling scores and watching the rope.
