We All Have New Addresses!

We all got notices in the past few days, in our mailboxes, that our addresses have changed.
I shall try to impart the new address without actually writing it...security ya know!
After all, this blog is being read by millions...errr...thousands.
You have the same lot number, of course, and the same city, same zip code. Just the number of the road. No more 9504. Now it's 9800.
You have a year to change your addresses with all your contacts.
USPS will continue to deliver to the old address for at least that long.
Pain in the buttinski, but it is what it is.

Sue, when I tried to change our address with the bank it was refused. The bank's computer told me that the address was not valid. Guess I'll wait till later in the year to make the change.

I know there will be some glitches. I still get an occassional computer complaint that my zip code isn't correct...after how many years?

Jim also had the same problem you report, though Lisette changed just about all her addresss with no problem.

It'll probably take a year to get it done!

Not so... the ZipCode denotes the post office, and the 4-digit extension is the Carrier Route Number (person) within that post office.

All of the thousands of mailing pieces in that person's truck have the same 9-digit code.
