What a great tournament!
In the past, whenever a series of volleys was played in a game,
we would all marvel, and say,
"Wow, aren't we improving!"
Well, yesterday that was the norm.
It was the best caliber of play I've ever seen at Sandpipers.

Most games were close, several going into overtime.
The outcome was in doubt.
No one could have predicted who was to win
the all important first three places.

As in the past the actual first place winning team came from the losers bracket
and clawed their way back up to the top.
The agony of defeat was tempered by the loser's Jello Shot Award.
As each team was eliminated they downed their Jello Shot to ease their pain.
Even the losers were happy, but the winners were awarded Easter bags chock full of goodies, including beer, cheese sticks, Easter candy and Cracker Jacks.
