EMAIL LIST
There is a sheet for your email if you want to be informed by email of news, weather issues or changes.  Your email will not be given out to anyone or anywhere, it will remain completely private.
OPENING CEREMONY AND PARADE OF FLAGS
The Parade of Flags will start at the Office and will start at 3:45 PM on March 18.  Everyone can decorate their golf carts or bicycles with the Flags of their State or Country and join Mike who will lead the Parade with the Sandpipers Nude Olympic Torch.  Opening/Awards/Super Happy Hour will follow the Parade of Flags.

BATTLE OF THE BALLS
The Ball of the Balls sign up sheets are also at Site 308.  If there are more than 15 entries there will be a drawing for the 15 that get selected.  Each entry will be provided meat of their choice to make their famous meatballs.  The rules for the contest are on the entry form.

50/50 DRAWING
There will be  50/50 Drawings on Wednesday at the Opening Ceremony/Happy Hour, at the Pub Nite on Saturday, and at the Closing Ceremony/Happy Hour.  This will be a cash drawing.  Buying tickets with your Activities Fund will NOT be allowed.  Also, if you could please bring small bills as we might run out of change if we get too many large bills.

NEW EVENTS
We have 3 new events this year.  Iron Peeps -  will be 3 grueling challenges that test skills to new levels, not really.  Competitors will start at the road by the basketball court and fast walk (no running allowed) to under the shade canopy next to the pool where they will have to do 15 bench presses, then fast walk to the pool, jump in touch the side and swim to the other side, touch and swim back.  There will be a division for men and women and the bench press for the ladies will not be as heavy.  The swimming will be across the shallow end, so walking back and forth will be possible for non-swimmers.

The next new event is the Ritz Challenge where you will have a Ritz cracker on your forehead and have to get it to your mouth without touching with your hands.  Should be a lot of strange faces show up for that one.

The last new event is Pool Shots.  This will be at Jakz on the new Pool Table, thanks Dave.  It will be a timed event to see how quick and accurate you are getting your balls in pockets.
