By my reckoning the weather rock is wet this morning.
The weather radar looks wet also. So... the bike ride scheduled for today, March 10 is hereby officially canceled.
Next week is our marathon bike ride, Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. We will ride the scenic loop which takes us along the Laguna Madre and then inland. The ride takes about three hours and covers about 12 miles. We eat a sack lunch at an overlook on the Laguna Madre, Redhead Pond and the coastal plain. We have seen Nalgai from this vantage point in the past. This ride will whip you into shape for the Olympics which begin the next day.
