Hello Everyone
Today is a busy day. The women will be playing Water Volleyball at 11:30 AM so come by the pool and cheer them on.
Horseshoes at 1PM in Z Field, the southwest corner. Show up and compete.
Meet at the Office for The Parade of Flags at 3:45PM. Please decorate your carts, bikes or walk with your Country or State Flag proudly displayed.
Mike will lead the Parade with the Official Sandpipers Nude Olympic Torch. The Parade will go East past the tennis court, North on the 500 Row, West on the 100 Row and enter the Pool area and stop in the Pavilion.
The Opening will be at 4PM with opening comments and the upcoming events will be explained along with times and locations. Then the first Awards Ceremony will be around 4:30. All the Water Volleyball events medals will be awarded along with Horseshoes and Darts.
Around 5PM will be the Super Happy Hour. Please bring a finger food dish to share. No electric will be available and no glass is allowed in the Pavilion.
Then at 5:00PM the Lemon Roll and the Ritz Challenge will be played so plan to stay for the fun times.
50/50 Drawing will be held at 5:30PM. The tickets will be on sale in the Pavilion starting at 4PM and the drawing will be at 5:30PM and you must be present to win. You must have cash to buy tickets, no using your activity fund.
Everyone who competes in an event will get a chance at a raffle prize at the Closing Ceremony next Wednesday. So every time you play you get another raffle chance. The more you play the better your chances of winning.
Every morning by 8:30AM we will try an send out an update for the day.
