When American surgeon Dr. Richard Walker (Harrison Ford) arrives for a medicine congress in Paris, he and his wife Sondra (Betty Buckley) find out that one of his spouse's bags has been switched for another. While Richard is taking a shower Sondra answers a phone call. While the shower is rustling, the doctor can't understand what his wife is trying to tell him. After he steps out of the cabin, Sondra is gone. A long search for her commences, where Dr. Walker finds out that the officials are not much of a help - so he's seeking assistance in the drug scene of Paris.
