Merry Christmas from Les & Janet

Just wanted to wish all of you the best ever Christmas from Les and Janet.
It has been 20 years since last we cross country skied
and at least 100 pounds added onto Janet's poor old knees.

But we enjoyed our first trip in Homer on the trails,

saw a couple of moose and Janet fell only about a dozen times.

Homer is a nice little town with a lot of helpful people who wanted to help Janet up each time she fell.

One guy even volunteered to literally pick her up.

Perhaps it was because her entire body was sprawled all over the trail.

Don't let Don and Vanessa fool you into thinking ALL of Alaska is below freezing. Here in the banana belt of the state (Homer) it is usually 12 degrees - maybe 13. Sounds better, eh?

We will think of you all on December 25th as we try our hand at snow shoeing - maybe even ice skating -

and ya'all are basking in the sun with a game or two of petanque.

SUN? What IS that anyway??

Merry Christmas to all.

Les & Janet
