This morning we gathered at the memorial garden with it's bright flowers and lowered flags to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
After a moving poetry reading, music and opening remarks...
The names from the plaques surrounding the central flag pole
were read, and the bell tolled.
At the conclusion taps was played,
tears flowed,
and the fallen remembered.
