To put such a selfless effort toward a noble cause is really commendable, and shows one's heart to be in the right place, for sure! But the key word here is "noble".

I feel compelled to share some knowledge that I believe all thinking people are entitled to know...

Anyone who donates to "FINDING a cure for cancer, of any type, is BEING SCAMMED! They are just feeding an ongoing machine that sucks money from the public, and their governments, to maintain a lucrative "industry" that has no intention of ever killing itself by actually "finding" any cure.

* Cancer is a 225 billion dollar per year industry.

* More people make their living from cancer, than actually have cancer.

* Since modern medical research has defeated other maladies far more complex than cancer, wouldn't you suppose cancer could have been cured decades ago?

Of course it could! And there are many more little factoids on the subject that I no longer recall now.

About 30 years ago I read a long, long interview given by an old, retired doctor who revealed many things therein. I remember only two things from that nationally published article, but here is the one that clinched it for me (paraphrased):

Q: "Do you think we will ever find a cure for cancer?"

A: "Oh my, we've known the cure for cancer for at least 80 years! But we could never let it be used, otherwise the country would have thousands more nursing homes filled with incontinent old people."

80 years! Plus 30 years ago! Add that up, and ask yourselves: is it reasonable that mankind cannot solve this little problem, ever?
