Musings and Questions....

First, a question for all you farmer types out there.
What is done with this dried out,
 burned-up-in-the-sun looking corn?
  Is this silage?
Used as animal feed in the long dark days to come?

I need to know burning questions like this...
and if nobody answers I will feel un-loved!
*******
Next...
are you following Cher & Steve's epic bike journey south?
Check it out..
makes me feel like a true couch potato.

Finally...
As I lay awake the other night, pondering the fate of the universe I solved the age old question...
What is the difference between men & women?
*
When a man criticizes a woman she then questions
 her looks,
 her weight,
 her manners,
her self worth,
her existence.....
When a woman criticizes a man he wonders
what is wrong with her?
True?
Ladies isn't that a truism?!

Cornhuskers and Hawkeyes would know corn as one of the basic food groups for BADGERS!

No it is not silage. Had it been harvested about 6-8 weeks earlier, stalks and all then it would be called silage. Used for animal food only. The corn in picture is mature and ready to shell. [harvest]. It also will be used as feed for animals, plus a gazillion other things from plastics to human foodstuffs.
