Sunburst Club in Florida

News from the road, from Bob & Mardi...

After a hard week of packing, cleaning, loading,
and then two and half days hard driving we needed a "weekend!"
We stopped at the Sunburst Club in the Florida panhandle near Milton.
We got a beautiful spot right across from the "doll house" guest house. Friendly people and the main event was a weinie roast at the fire pit!
The grounds are beautiful tucked back in a forest.

The Florida version of the winter storm that hit John & Mary cooled things down so we did not even need air conditioning!

Bob tried but nobody would join him for vollyball in the 78 degree pool!

We already miss all you guys!

Hey Bob, Sunburst is where Mary and I spent our summer vacations before we discovered Sandpipers! We haven't been there since about 2002 though, I think. We would go to Navarre (nude) beach from there, but that beach was shut down in 1999.

Is Charlotte still the Manager there?

How about John, the owner? He'd be 76 now...

Charlotte's husband ran the reservations, and business desk (I forget his name now).

How much can you tell us?

78 degree pool people here complain when it's 92 no wonder nobody is playing water to cold.
