New Olympic Event!

Bob W. is at it again....
A new Olympic event is about to be born!
“On the Other Hand” Golf

The object of the game is to play one hole of golf with your NON-dominant hand.

If you are right handed you will play with a left handed club,

or if you are left handed you will play with a right handed club.

The Course:

The Tee box is the front yard of Lot 34. The “hole” is a three foot circle around the little tree (within the guide stakes) sixty yard west of the tee box in the field. The fairway is the Sandpipers field.

The Equipment:

On the driveway under the carport will be a red and black golf bag with two six irons, you must use one of those irons. These clubs are for record only, not practice! You may practice as much as you want with some other clubs.

The Rules:

1. Each swing counts as a stroke, including misses!

2. If your tee shot lands on the road, place your ball in the field nearest to the position of your ball but off the pavement, and add a penalty stroke (that means your next shot you are laying two, shooting three!)

3. If you lose your ball, rehit from your old position, adding one stoke.

4. Tee up every shot. You may move the ball a couple feet but no closer to the hole.

5. Come any time with a playing partner (who is not related to you) and play as a twosome, keeping each other’s score. Single players must have a caddie (not related) to keep score.

6. Record your name and score after the hole on the Leader Board pasted to the window on the carport.

7. Use a regular golf ball, BE CAREFUL!

8. There will be a playoff among the four best scores for the medals a couple days before the end of Olympics.
