Owl Week 2013

Owl Week 2013
Owl week this year is January 21 thru 24.
We will open the week with a beer tasting

 at 5:30 pm
 in the Pavilion
 to be followed by Pizza.

If you would like to participate in the beer tasting
please bring 2 beers to:

Marilynn & Buddy  #12,
Bob &Carma  #308,
Paul & Judy  #404,
Faye & Vinny  #208,
Richard & Diane  #411.

(Pick one couple!
You don't have to bring two beers to each!)

These can be two of your favorites,
something new you would like to try,
or just something whose label looked interesting.

We will also have keg beer at the event.

There will be a $5 per person charge for the pizza and you will be able to choose from four different kinds when you sign up.

You must be paid to attend so we can have your favorite for you and the deadline is noon on Friday Jan. 18th.

There will be some nice prizes given away at the event
and we will reveal what will make this year
new and different
 from all other years.

We have some fun things planned and
we encourage all to attend and get involved.
We are giving away some great prizes
so you won’t want to miss these events.

The Owl Dinner and initiation will conclude the week
5:30, Thursday Jan 24th,
in the Pavillion.

 Menu will be fried chicken,
 potato salad,
beans,
and dessert.
Price per person will be $7,
and the deadline for sign-up is also noon Friday Jan 18th.

You will receive a ticket when you sign-up and pay that will enter you in the prize give-away
so be sure and hang onto it.

The prizes given away at this final event will be  even bigger and better and we encourage all to attend and have fun with it.

Sign-up sheets for both events are located at the following sites:

Marilynn & Buddy #12
Bob &Carma #302
Paul & Judy #404
Richard & Diane #411
Faye & Vinny #208

It's Owl Time Again!

Do you know what an OWL is?
Owl's are a Sandpiper social club whose mission statement includes drinking beer, eating pizza,
and once or twice a year doing both to excess.
Want to join?
We need fresh OWL blood!
Contact the people mentioned on the poster for further instructions.
It's dark.
It's mysterious.
It's fattening.
And you get a t-shirt!

There will be a table set up at the January Junque and Java.
New candidates for Owl membership can sign up at that time
or they can see the above Owls at any time.

Thank you,

Whoo, Whoo
Bob Hulka
