Once again we are canceling a bicycle ride. Today's
weather forecast for Port Isabel, on the coast just south of Laguna Atascosa,
calls for winds from the north at 25 to 30 miles per hour during the
morning. The scenic loop at Laguna Atascosa is on the coast for about 6
of the 14 miles and the other 8 miles are inland but there are no
trees to slow the wind. This would make the ride very strenuous, not
the enjoyable ride we want. Our make-up day for this ride is next
Tuesday, March 27.
