Last weekend Catherine competed in
the Indiana Plein Air "Brush of Fall" event in Converse, Indiana. Artists from
all over the mid-west met at a small, rural community in north-central Indiana
for a painting competition.
About 75 artists competed. Entries
had to be painted that day in the open air. Catherine entered one painting.
While she did not win an award, she did sell eight paintings to collectors
attending the event (the most of any of the artists).
She was absolutely ecstatic.
In the evening Catherine and Bob
attended a "Garden Party and BBQ" at a large farm owned by the hosting
artist.

Well, there will be no holding you back now! Congrats on doing so well at the art show. It's fun to watch you continually remake yourself and explore other aspects of your talents. Keep up the good work!
