July 4th

Come join us at 10am,
 at the Memorial Garden,
 on the 4th of July
to celebrate our independence!

*********************
I am back in the land of the living, kind of,
after my partial knee replacement.
Doing my exercises, moaning thru the pain.
I don't have very strong pain meds so I feel EVERYTHING!
But I am assured that this too shall pass.

As a member of the knee club, I can say it will get better. Best wishes. Oh, welcome to the titanium group. We will be recycled!

My rehab therapist kept insisting that I examine my posture frequently to make certain I wasn't stooping! If you haven't been told that, look in the mirror and stand up straight! Rehab is the key! Be tough, push yourself through the pain and you'll come through fine. Life is better after knee replacement!

I didn't have strong enough pain meds following my knee surgery and my home health nurse insisted I needed something stronger so she called my doctor and got a stronger prescription. It helped a LOT. You might consider speaking to your doctor about something that will be more effective. It won't eliminate the pain but it will make it more tolerable. Knee replacement is tough; I'm all for letting modern medications help.

Exercise that knee and follow those doctor's orders. Been there and done that.
It will all be worth it. Take care. M
