I have finally gotten the straight (I hope) scoop on Mardi Gras doings. Lots of misinformation floating around but a source brought me an actual flyer. Here goes:
Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras)

Body Painting
at the Pavilion from 2-4pm, supplies provided with judging before the parade.
Parade
starts at 4:15 by the office.
Golf carts, bikes, walkers...dress up and be judged for Best Decorated Parade Entry...also Best Decorated Site!
Super Happy Hour
after the parade in the pavilion. Finger food only, no electricity provided.
Jam Band
will play from 5-7pm.
Pub Nite
starts a 6:30pm. Beer, beernitas, wine, snacks, BYOB and more snacks if you want.
parlor games , king cake.
King & Queen of Mardi Gras
will be crowned during Pub nite.
50/50 Drawing at 7pm to help the activity fund. Cash only.
