Thanks to everyone who has participated
in the 50-50 drawings to raise money for the
AED (Automated External Defibrillator) program.
We need about $200 annually to run the AED program.
In Nov. we raised $40...a boon because the winner of the drawing donated her winnings back to the program.
Today we had a total of $142 and once again, the generosity of the people of this park is overwhelming as the winner of the drawing donated her winnings as well.
We were about $100 in the red from last year's expenses
but now we are $42 to the good.
I have no doubt we'll be able to raise the remainder
by the middle of March.
