Grapefruit Anyone? Annual Grapefruit Squeeze.

They've stripped the trees and are ready to squish those grapefruits.

 

  Bring your own container to take some home, and if you

 

wish, something to mix with the juice to drink on site. 

 

 Past favorites were vodka, rum, perhaps tequila.

Yum, a Salty Dog was always a favorite.

Pub Night-Tonight

Don't forget about the SPECIAL pub night tonight. 

 It's a secret. 

 It's a surprise.

  It's special.

 

Please do arrive before 8pm or you'll miss it.

There will be plenty of libations.

The Day Before Lent Begins!

 

Whatever you call it, it's a blast.  Sandpiper's is not to be outdone by a few revelers in Louisiana!

 

Feb. 9 join in our very own Mardi Gras Parade and celebration.

 

The Parade, 5pm:

Line up your golf cart. your bicycle, or tricycle at 4:45pm by the pavilion. (Prizes for best decorated cart, bike and trike).

  Walkers also are encouraged to parade.  The parade will go onto every street so gather your neighbors and lawn chairs to cheer on the carts, musicians (Jazz Saxes), walkers and cycles. The route is about a mile long and ends at the pavilion.

 (Do the whole route or just a bit)

 

OK, you've paraded and now you are famished and thirsty!

 

Super Happy Hour, 6pm:

Beer provided but bring finger food.  No electricity available, no table service...just your fingers.

Lot's of live music with Sandpiper's Jam Bands performing until the beer runs out at 10pm.

There will be live music and teams with captains formed to

"Name That Tune".

 

Bring your chair and byob and be prepared for a musical time.

Whenever I forget about Pub Nite and the next day hear about the surprises and fun that was had I could just kick myself. 

Don't be like me. 

Plan to attend this Pub Nite for sure.

 

There is always beer to taste, snacks, games, music, new people to meet, old friends to greet, a Jam session...the list goes on and on.
