We have a couple of weeks before the big day
so let's get up to speed, shall we?
During this cold and drizzly period what better to do than go shopping?
Pick up some extra food for the Adopt-A-Family Food Pantry,
check the previous post for the latest food list.

And thumb thru your cookbooks for some yummy cookies
to swap in the annual cookie exchange.
The Christmas gift exchange is coming up on the 24th.
I'll do a more extensive blog later but for now be on the lookout for unisex gifts
(suggested value $20). A gift you would personally love to receive,
like restaurant gift cards, or maybe a card from Roosevelt's or even Walmart!
Or liquor or wine...somehow always a hot ticket.
Use you imagination and be prepared to have your chosen gift stolen!

The Christmas Pot Luck Dinner sounds yummy with Hams and Turkey
being provided once again by Karen & Jay.
Sign-up sheets are in the pavilion for all the side dishes.
And listen up, Peeps!
For Thanksgiving 75 people signed up, so tables were arranged and set for that number,
plates and utensils set out, meat prepared.
Guess what?
114 people showed up to eat!
Sign up so we can know how many are coming...even if you aren't able to bring a dish, sign up!

*New Year's Eve*
It's gonna be spectacular! Full of prizes and surprises!
Tickets ($2 @) are available from Karen #403 or Marie #421
Look for the poster in the pavilion...but here's a teaser!
Rumor has it the Mistress of Ceremonies
will be wearing Stilettos with light-up heels!
