Defibrillator...where is it, what's the story?
I found out yesterday.
The defibrillator is alive and well and in temporary custody of Paul #404. He is in the process of fine tuning a few problems, replacing some parts and arranging for a permanent public spot.
As soon as it is ready it will be placed in weather-proof housing on a wall near Flip Flopz for use in medical emergencies.
Now...as to emergencies.
We'll need a bunch of trained peeps to save our lives.
Paul is arranging for a class that will train volunteers in the use of the defibrillator. At the last Wednesday social a very impressive number stepped forward, but more is even better. Right now the cost per person for the class has been worked down to about $30. If more sign up the cost could go down further.
The dates and times for this class will be announced at a later date.
If you would like to volunteer
sign up
*with Paul at #404
or
*email him at pkelly@cdpwise.net
