Canada - USA Volleyball Tournament

It's that time again!

the annual 

Canada-USA Volleyball Tournament

is scheduled for

Saturday, January 19, 2013

beginning at 11:30 am.





To sign up to play in this traditional event,

be at the Wednesday social (4:00) on January 16,

or else at the pavilion on Saturday January 19 

between 9:00 and 10:00 am. 




Team rosters will then be prepared

and will be posted at the start of the tournament. 




There is no rule about having to be a citizen 

of a country to play on that team

-you decide which team you want to sign up to play for.





9 games will be played-

3 men, 3 women, and 3 co-ed.




The side winning the majority of the games

will be declared the winner. 




If you don't want to play, 

be sure to come down to the pool 

and watch some great volleyball,

cheer for your favorite team, 

and enjoy a meal in Flip-Flops at the same time.




By the way, this is a fun event

- this year there will be no referee -




teams will make their own calls

based on honesty and fair play.

in February and March!
