The grass sod has yet to be placed (look for Weedstock in the next few weeks) and the OFFICIAL Grand Opening isn't until AFTER the grass is down, plants in their rightful spots, etc., but for now, shower on.

Shower House Update
Soap in the dispensers, paper in the toilet cubicles, benches to rest on.
This unknown subject kindly volunteered to do a test run.
He got clean.
A few gentle reminders. Because the grass isn't laid yet, approach the Shower House through the pool-side entrance or stay on sidewalks to avoid tracking mud into the showers. Also, if you are covered in mud, grass, dirt...rinse off with a hose first before showering. The septic system seems touchy about excess grass and mud, plus, lets keep the floors clean.
About the benches in the shower. Please don't try to move them. They are super heavy.
And they ARE NOT one piece...if you try to move them or straighten them a disaster beyond your imagination could occur.
A temporary fence has been positioned on one side of the pool-side entrance,
and plants on the other to discourage short cuts.
(You know who you are!)New fences are ordered, sod is on it's way, finishing touches are in the works...but for right now....
The Shower House is open for business!

Someone asked me if Sandpipers had any OUTDOOR showers (because she much preferred the wild blue yonder while showering on a nice day).
I didn't know... Do we?
I like 'em too. :-)
I could squirt you with the pool hose...
is there a possibility to put up little shelves on the wall below each shower head to hold shampoos etc.?
The new showers look and feel great! The shower heads deliver a nice flow of comfortably hot water. This a big improvement over the old showers. Thanks, Karen and Jay!
