Bill and I want to thank all of you who braved the weather and came to our Open House on Sunday. We were overwhelmed by the number of people who came to share our new home. I think it was really the food they came for but they paid a price because they stood in line in the rain to get it.
Thank you to all those
who brought food as I surely wouldn't have manage to feed the masses.

Along with our many thanks, I'm attaching the recipe for the lemon dump cake
dessert.

Lemon Dump Cake
1 can lemon pie filling
1can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
1package White or lemon
cake
3/4 cup butter cut into thin slices (1 1/2
sticks)
Cool Whip
1can mandarin oranges
Preheat oven to 350. Spray 13 x 9 baking pan
with cooking spray,
Spread lemon filling evenly in prepared pan,
add pineapple, top with dry cake mix spreading evenly. Top with butter slices
spreading and covering as much as possible. Bake 50 to 55 minutes. You may need
to adjust the baking time according to your oven. Cake is done when toothpick
comes out clean.
.Cool and cover with Cool Whip and top with
mandarin oranges.

Many thanks for having an open house. Food and company was great in spite of the rain. Also thanks for the recipe.
