Our Olympic Golf Scramble will be

Monday, February 27th

 at our regularly scheduled place and time.

Please make sure that you sign up on the sheets

provided for the scramble no later than

Wednesday, February 22nd.

That will allow Joey and me time to organize the players.

Then the team captains will be able to draw for their teams after the opening ceremonies, which are Friday, February 24th.

 The Wiffle Ball competition will be on

Sunday afternoon, March 4th at 1:00.

From the resident Cowpoke's, Dr. Bob & Catherine:

The Nude Olympics Calf Roping (NOCR) competition

is scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, March 3, 2012.

 Anyone wanting to "hone" his or her skills prior to the big day can do so by stopping by Lot #410 (Bob and Catherine).

The calf is tethered in the yard

and a well-broken-in lariat is also available.

 Practicing is done on foot while the actual competition,

however, is done from horse-back...

(wooden rocking-horse complete with a saddle).

As you can tell from the pictures, either men or women may compete...and a good "catch" is always exciting.

While neither Bob nor Catherine claim to be experienced ropers they will be available when they are home to assist beginning ropers or just to watch.

 Feel free to stop by anytime before the third.

NOTE: Children, do not try this at home or without adult supervision!
