While we were at the AANR convention at Sun Meadow in Worley, Idaho we
just missed Mel and Terri but did see Peeps Sharon and Byron.

Seeing their friendly faces was even more enjoyable than the sights we saw on our day trip to Spokane, Washington.
On the way to Spokane we passed a small herd of shorn alpacas
and a field of lavender that smelled even better than it looked.
Our favorite place in Spokane was Manito Park
where we saw nature's wonders in the Duncan Garden,
the Gaiser Conservatory,
the Japanese Garden,
and the Spokane Rose Society's Rose Hill.
