I know you already know this.
When you get to the main page of The SandPaper (This Blog!),
if you right click with your mouse, you'll get a little list of options.
One of them says "create shortcut".
Click on it and a little icon will appear on your desk top.
Next time you want to read the SandPaper you won't have to type in the address.
I know you already know this stuff, but just in case...Mac users, you are on your own.

Depending on your browser (I use Safari to get on the web and then Yahoo or AOL) there is always an icon in the banner to indicate favorites. When you click on the + sign in Safari you are given a space to name the page you are saving and two choices of where to place this new favorite. If you choose the menu bar the site will appear below the banner. So next time you want to go to that site without the hassle of retyping the URL address you just click on the name in the menu bar and you're all set.
I'm not a wizard but you're welcome to ask me questions about Mac.
