Improvements & Upgrade to K-NUDE

During the summer, K-NUDE, Sandpipers Resort Radio at 92.1FM, made substantial improvements to the music selection, equipment, and capabilities, making K-NUDE more relevant to the residents and guests of the resort.

In the music lineup, K-NUDE added over 500 new songs to the already extensive selection of music. K-NUDE continues to broadcast a special mix of oldies, classic rock, as well as classic and contemporary country songs.

To assist listeners during weather emergencies, K-NUDE installed the NOAA Weather emergency service. Any time a weather emergency or alert is issued, K-NUDE will break in and broadcast information direct from the NOAA Weather Service. Thus assuring listeners the latest and up to the minute weather information

To make sure K-NUDE is available anytime, but especially during power outages, K-NUDE installed a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). This will allow K-NUDE to remain on the air even if the resort loses power. Since K-NUDE can now stay on the air even during power outages, listeners are urged to have a battery powered FM radio to stay informed especially during an emergency.

K-NUDE also will make resort news available as soon as it’s received. This will keep the residents and guests informed on what's happening and about any changes that were made to the resort schedule of events.

K-NUDE is always striving to improve communication at Sandpipers and welcomes any comments or suggestions on further improvements or programming. Address all Emails to knudetx@gmail.com or drop by the studio at Lot 42. You can always stop Steve when you see him and discuss the station.
