From the Front Office

As you may have noticed the dumpster is getting too full, too fast to keep it clean and tidy by the front gate.  Visitors and guests are being subjected to trash on the ground which attract vermin, not to mention the renter's view is disgusting.

Therefore a proposal is being considered and
I would appreciate feedback.

Each street will receive it's own (smaller) dumpster,
and keep it neat and tidy.

A smaller trash truck will empty the dumpster as needed.

We'll be able to see which street has the most trash
 and bill accordingly.

No dumpng of trash in another street's dumpster!
 No lawn waste.
No recyclables.
All trash bagged and labled with your lot number.

Do you think this would be the answer to our trashy problem?  Feedback taken at the office-see Maria.

And bill WHOM accordingly?

"All trash bagged and labled with your lot number." And WHO will dumpster-dive to check those labels?

No, it won't work. The problem is that a lot of people don't recycle, especially bottles and cardboard. They also don't wait until the junk wagon is here. The offenders will simply dump their excess in other bins.

April Fool's, right?

OK - you got us! But still an issue - too much recyclable materials going in the garbage because people are too lazy to take their own stuff to the recycling depot on 281 (or even into the shed). And with a landfill just east on 2812 you would think that people could take their own large junk over there instead of waiting for the junk wagon!?

More locations for trash contaoners throughout the park? I don't see how having more locations will diminish the volume of trash, besides who wants one of those smaller bins on their site?

Maybe we should be able to burn our trash on our site. A little more smoke in the neighborhood won't hurt anything. Ha! Good gaffe, Karen.
