Our big Valentine’s Tapas Dinner will
take up most of my weekend as it has the past couple of days. I am truly looking
forward to a wonderful meal and a good time for all of our attendees. I would
like to thank you in advance for joining our dinner celebrating Valentine’s Day.
It is even more special as my daughter-in-law, Angie will be down to help me in
the kitchen and the best thing is she is bringing our youngest granddaughter,
Leona with her. Grandpa gets Leona all day on Sunday as Granmma has Saturday. We
love this Valentine treat!!
The Valentine’s Dance is Saturday,
February 13 beginning at 7:30 pm. We hope to see you down at the pavilion as
K-Nude will be hosting this event. This dance is special, so you won’t want to
miss this event.
Speaking of lovin’, there is an issue
about the dogs. Please be sure to abide by the resort Handbook rules on walking
your dogs and letting them run. If you are not sure of our policy, please come
to the office and we can go over the rules (ie: dogs must be on a six foot NOT a
retracable leash when off your site; Do NOT allow your dog to pee or poop
anywhere but on YOUR site or in the field; Pick up after your dog even when it
is on your site or in the field IMMEDIATELY and dispose promptly and properly;
Dogs are not allowed in the common areas, street corners, gardens, etc.) One
other thing about dogs, when you leave your site dogs are being reported
barking. RV and mobile home walls are thin and excessive barking is annoying.
Please be sure your dog is not in that category.
It is also that time of the season when
we are at our maximum capacity (=elbow to elbow) and sometimes we forget that we
are all here to enjoy our life. The issue of noise whether it is a barking dog
or music playing too loud or some laughing too loud, etc our reminder that the
quiet hours still are from 11 pm to 7 am. If you are standing on the street and
you can hear something from your site, then you are probably too loud no matter
what time it is. Other then resort functions listed on the calendar, please be
kind to your neighbors and observe the noise level limitations. Oops, someone
left me a message about the music on the pool deck. We have allowed to have the
K-Nude radio station play at a noise level that can be heard while in the water
volleyball pool. The radio should not be playing any other time. If you wish to
listen to music while on the pool deck or in the exercise room, please use a
personal device with earphones.
Lastly but certainly not least is the
old speed limit rules. I just said that my 21 month old granddaughter will be
here this weekend and anyone speeding will be fined on their account. Also there
have been two “near misses” at the office stop sign. If you are biking down the
“20s” row coming from the east heading west, you must STOP at the stop sign. The
parking lot at the front has been striped off in yellow meaning no parking in
those areas. The gate cameras are working very well. We do have several
violations recorded on the camera system. The grace period for most is over,
please abide by our gate policy procedures.
