According to Karen W. the park has been able to keep
144 cubic yards of "stuff" out of the landfill this winter season.
That's a savings of $2800. that can be put to better use.

We accomplished this by recycling plastic, aluminum,
cardboard and newspaper, steel cans, and more

through Angel's Trash Removal and Recycling.
And a Huge Thank You to the people who haul the recycling
to the Edinburg Recycling Center.

We also were filling three 30 gal. trash bags per Sandpiper's function with
paper plates, cups and plastic table ware.

Now we have washable dishes and silverware.

Hopefully by next winter we will be able to recycle glass.
