Time to Wrap it up!

Well Sandpeeps, the time has come for me to close it down.

All info is available at the office or on Facebook so you aren't being left uninformed.

I can no longer keep it up.  The stupid liver disease has icky side effects and I am easily confused with very little memory.

The site will still be here if you want to read past entrees and relive some great Sandpiper memories.

 It's been a blast!

New Post Update

It's been quite awhile since I have posted anything here.  Several reasons not the least of which is Covid kept everything very low-key.

And secondly almost everyone gets their info from Facebook, me included. so the blog seems a bit redundant.

But the biggie, at least for me, is I have been battling liver failure for the past year and a half.  A build up of ammonia in my blood affected my brain in many strange and uncomfortable ways, for instance no memory of how things work, hand-eye coordination gone, could barely walk, and got lost in my own house, and did you know you can't change the TV channel using an I phone?

I am going to try to update more often, so bear with me.

I vowed back when I was ALOT younger I wouldn't be the little old lady complaining about illness, aches and pains.  Who knew it would be almost the only topic of interest? Now I am battling not only liver disease but skin cancers, and the docs are going to rebuild my nose!! AGAIN!! Damn cancer.

See you soon....!

Spring Beer Fest-1 week away!

So, you've chosen your beer.  What food are you going to share for the best gastronomic pleasure?
So, after a quick perusal I've come to the conclusion that a sardine curry on a spicy cheesy pizza with perhaps some raw squid, is a good choice for the most popular beers.

Don't forget-one week to go.  4 pm at sites 36-37.  Bring two beers per drinker, chairs, etc.  Don't forget the sardine pizza.

Christmas Open House, 2019

You are all invited to a
Christmas Open House
at John and Sue's
 fantastically decorated house-#37
Weds., December 18, 4-6pm

What is an open house?
It’s NOT a super Happy Hour.

This is a party to spread some
holiday cheer around
to your friends and neighbors.

DO bring a drink, a nibble to share (gourmet if you want to impress!)...visit, admire the decor, steal a kiss or two under the mistletoe-then drift away to your next event!

It's supposed to be an ebb and flow type party.
So come for a little while,
 anytime between 4-6pm.

*
Do NOT bring chairs,
(circulate, drink a little, find the mistletoe!)

Do BYOB,

Park on the side of the road, do not even consider parking on the grass or Santa will leave a lump of coal in your stocking!  Don't block the road.
