Tears, again!

It is with great sadness that we received word from Joey's daughter, Laurie, that Joey was "resting in peace" at 9 pm last night (her birthday).  We are thankful that neither Joey or Barry no longer suffer any further and that they are together again.

We can just remember the goodness they shared and the warm memories that will live in our hearts.

Thanks you for all of your thoughts and prayers in their support.
Hugs & God Bless to All!

Kennibunk, Maine

Waiting for the Lobster Cruise in Kennibunk...thirsty work!

Bush compound.  Barbara and 41 must be napping.

Caught three lobsters in a demo trap.  Kinda small.

The black dots are lobster eggs,
soon to be a dinner in, oh, 7-9 years.

Not sea sick, just frozen.  Amazing how cold 65 degrees
can feel on the ocean!

I have a whole lot of pictures in Jim's camera.  If he could only figure out how to get them to me!!! Camera has him flumoxed!

Bar Harbor Feast Fest

Cher and Steve were fabulous guides...to trails, to food, an endless amount of Bar Harbor knowledge.

We had a great camp site right on the water.
 Watched clammers at low tide.

And the lobster stew!!! Imagine cream with as much butter melted into it as possible then stuffed with chunks of lobster, follow with a hot popover and butter and jam...burp!

And of course, lobster!  Lobster at every meal is our goal.

We have a few days until our RV caravan starts.  The colors should be about perfect.

Lobsterfest

Corn, coleslaw, a roll, a boatload of mussels, a humongous whole lobster, a vat of melted butter...about $23.00...plus pricless friends!

Joey Update from Annie

Greetings to all!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we received an update on Joey last night.  Her daughter Laurie said that after an IV infusion (antibiotics) today, Joey will be released from the hospital (out of jail)!  Laurie will be taking Joey back to Minnesota with her to get well and strong again.  Her new address will be:

        Joey Noel
        c/o Laurie Bjornson
        11913 100th Street SW
        Hayfield, MN 55940

Barry's obituary can be seen on Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.  Anyone interested in making a donation in Barry's honor may do so through the Patient Assistance Fund, 1704 Christy Court, Suite 500, Jefferson City, MO 65101.  This fund is through Dr. Hopkins (oncologist) office for those patients who can't afford cancer treatments.

FYI - Joey's birthday is September 27th!

Anyone who would like to see Barry's obituary can go to
Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home web site.
 Anna Waugh wrote:
Hi everyone!
Here is the address which we can send cards to Joey - it is their son's (John Moore) address:

Joey Noel,

11436 Lower Bottom Road,

St. Thomas, MO 65076.
I have been texting a bit with Cheri:  Joey is still in shock and can't believe he's gone, so today will be the hardest.

Her doctor is going to give her a day pass this afternoon to go to funeral home to see Barry.

Something that will give us some solace with Barry.  Our Pastor Neil visited with Barry at Windsor before he transferred to Jefferson City.  They had a nice visit and Barry received communion and Pastor blessed him with the sign of the cross in oil on his forehead.  We believe that was very meaningful to Barry.  Thanks be to God that he is no longer in pain or suffering.

Please continue to keep Joey and the family in your prayers.

Hugs & God Bless to All!
